JTC# 402002 N Scale 1:160, Canvas/Open top Magnetic container- corrugated ‘wave’ sides. Has removable canvas top. FIRST TIME OFFERED in N Scale. Featured IBC(connecting pins), AND Magnetic connecting system. Models come in packages of TWO, unless noted otherwise. Decorated for Grand View Containers, GVC. The IBC pins Mate with JTC 40′ HC containers with Magnets, JTC 20′ containers with Magnets; Atlas 40 container, and Walthers 40′ container. JTC 402002 – GVC 40′ open top container with corrugated sides(42).
GVC is Grand View Development, who entered the container leasing business in 2001. Registered in Hong Kong, GVC’s container fleet is more than 500,000 TEU’s, including over 15 types of marine containers as well as various types of intermodal equipment. In December 2007, GVC changed its English name to UES International (HK) Limited.
GVC & UES branded containers can be seen in service all over the world, including the U.S. and Canada. This particular scheme is a short run. This version not to be repeated.
