This 40’ boxcar with Bettendorf trucks was built in the 1940s and rebuilt in the late 1960s by the Chicago Freight Car Company. Baltimore & Ohio was the oldest common carrier railroad in the United States, founded in 1830. After numerous mergers, it became a part of CSX Transportation, where its heritage lives today.
