These 50’ rib side box cars with plug doors and no roofwalk are green with white lettering and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built-in 1966 for New York Central Railroad, this car featured a cushioned underframe and DFB loaders. New York Central was founded in 1853 and continued until the merger with Pennsylvania Railroad in 1968 to form Penn Central.
